About Us
What We Do
Helping Clients to Maximize their Wealth Building Potential and Minimize their risk for over 20 years.
Christopher M. DeYoung, CFPⓇ is dedicated to providing exceptional financial planning, coaching, and advisory services tailored to the unique needs of business owners and successful families. Our mission is rooted in a guiding philosophy we call a worthy ideal: to dedicate ourselves to powerfully educate and motivate professionals, families, and entrepreneurs to achieve success within all aspects of their personal economy so they can live a retirement of their dreams and build a lasting legacy for their families and philanthropic causes. This approach fuels our purpose – it’s the reason behind everything we do. It's our why.
We are committed to being the best versions of ourselves for our clients and our families. Our goal is to provide ongoing support, adapting to your evolving needs to ensure lasting success. We believe in leading with authenticity, maintaining balance, focusing on our clients, striving for excellence, and upholding integrity in all our endeavors.
A Look Into Our Process
We value the lifelong relationships we build with our clients and tailor our approach to their unique situations, ensuring personalized service. Our process is designed to provide clarity, confidence, and comprehensive solutions that align with your financial goals and objectives.
Step One:
Initial Meeting & Fact Finding
In our first meeting, we introduce you to our philosophy and strategic advantage, setting the stage for a transparent and collaborative lifelong relationship. We take the time to understand both you and your family, along with your unique personal and financial circumstances. We'll set clear and achievable goals for both the short and long term.
Step Two:
Analysis & Strategy Development
We then analyze and organize your current plan. We'll work together to comprehensively "Stress Test" your current course of action by playing out how it would react to many unique circumstances and situations not only today, but throughout each of the phases of your financial life including accumulation, distribution and legacy transfer. We'll explore alternative strategies, build models, create The Living Balance Sheet®, and develop customized recommendations tailored to your unique needs. Depending on the complexity of your situation, we typically need 1 to 2 meetings to refine and quantify these strategies, ensuring they are robust and actionable.
Step Three: Implementation & Ongoing Engagement
Once the plan is implemented, our commitment to you doesn't end there. We remain actively engaged, continuously monitoring and updating your plan as needed. By staying consistently involved, we bridge the gaps between misinformation and unrealistic expectations, educating and assisting you throughout the planning process.
The goal of our process is to increase your wealth building potential above and beyond your current course of action. We want to minimize your current plans risk and the amount of income taxes you may pay now and in the future. We'll work to build maximum protection from the wealth eroding factors that are inherent in our society, such as death, disability, lawsuits, inflation and planned obsolescence. Our approach ensures that you are never alone on your financial journey. We are here to provide the support, insights, and guidance needed to help you achieve lasting success and build a legacy that will make you proud.

What excites me the most is the astounding number of families we impact. While it wasn't always this way, as I've grown older and my practice has matured, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative effects of our planning. Whether helping clients execute on their American Dreams or guiding them through challenging situations, our work truly makes a difference. What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to meet and spend time with my clients daily. I believe the greatest value I can provide is clarity and a mindset that benefits my clients, not the banks or financial institutions. I currently reside in Medford, NJ, with my wife, Paige, and our children, Brian and Abby. Outside of work, I volunteer for The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, a NJ-based organization that supports families battling pediatric cancer. I am also active in the LIONS organization and a member of Finseca and NAIFA, which are industry-specific groups. My personal passions include travel, food, and golf. My family and I love road-tripping and have set a goal to visit every state in the country before my son graduates high school. We've already visited about 40 states and have four more years to go! David Suckey
Partner
Dave Suckey's path to becoming a financial advisor was anything but conventional. Initially pursuing a career in law, Dave attended college on a dual-sport scholarship for soccer and baseball, while earning his degree in Business Administration. His dream job was to become a sports agent, inspired by the film Jerry Maguire and the idea of representing athletes. However, internships in the sports industry revealed the challenging and unstable nature of that career path.
Upon graduation, Dave took a semester off before starting law school, working on a class action lawsuit for Prudential. This experience sparked his interest in the financial markets leading to a pivot in his career. Dave decided to explore opportunities in finance, which resulted in an interview and subsequent offer from Prudential.
Just before starting at Prudential, Dave was introduced by friends and family to Frank Congilose. After meeting with Frank, he preferred the client-centric approach to financial advising and focusing on building relationships. This meeting profoundly influenced Dave's career trajectory.
Dave's initial years in the financial sector were marked by rapid success, followed by challenges. Transitioning from a sales-focused mindset to a value-creation approach, Dave began to excel by coaching clients with their financial planning. This shift led him to achieve Leaders Club status within his second year.
Dave has been recognized for his holistic approach to financial planning that came as a result of a passion for helping families and individuals achieve financial confidence. He emphasizes cash flow management and comprehensive financial strategies over asset accumulation. His dedication and unique perspective have earned him a place on the President’s Council, representing the top professionals in his field. His why is “helping families and helping people feel confident and certain around finances and the path they are on.”
Beyond his professional achievements, Dave is deeply committed to his community. He has coached youth sports teams in baseball, basketball, and soccer in Wall, New Jersey, drawing parallels between coaching in sports and finance. He has been on the board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as an active member for over 20 years. In addition to his financial advisory career, Dave is a franchisee owner with Jersey Mike's.
Dave enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Toni, and their three children at the beach and playing golf. Their home, known for its welcoming atmosphere with a backyard bar and cabana, is a hub for family gatherings and entertainment.

Barry Nash
Financial Advisor
Barry Nash is a long-time professional in the finance industry and an experienced financial advisor and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP). He started his career trading stocks for Lehman Brothers and First NY Securities. He then transitioned to financial planning for C&A Financial Group because of the unique philosophy of holistic planning.
Barry’s vision and enthusiasm as an advisor is to help everyone improve their financial well-being and the best way to achieve that is through holistic planning and his first-hand experience. In his 40-year career, he has faced a wide variety of market situations and challenges, which is now a testament to the knowledge and value he extends to his clients.
The best value a Financial Advisor can offer their clients is first-hand experience. He learned the magnitude of early planning after experiencing the tragic loss of his wife at the age of 49. He had planned accordingly, not knowing that his life would change very quickly; his planning paid off. It gave him the peace of mind in knowing that he and his children were taken care of when the unexpected occurred. Living through a challenging time compelled him to fully understand the impact and reality of the planning he does, especially after living it first-hand. “Anything can happen to anyone at any time. To make sure your family and your business remain intact is a reality that must be planned for as early as possible.”
Dedication to his clients and consistent achievements earned him the Leaders Club Award.
Barry is a graduate of the University of Delaware and currently resides in Wall, NJ. When he is not working, he enjoys walking on the boardwalk and going to the theatre. He enjoys watching sports and is a NY Mets and NY Giants fan. He is also a black belt in karate. Barry is passionate about the SAVE Rescue Shelter for animals and advocating for suicide prevention. He has two adult-aged children, 2 dogs and enjoys visiting Florida on a regular basis.
